Orthokeratologists from all over North America will be able to receive training at the Orthokeratolgy Academy of America (OAA) meeting in October. Doctor Edward Chow who co-developed software called Orthotool will be training those who attend, on how to properly use the software.
The training will be held in Chicago from October 20-24 at the Marriott Oak Brook Hotel. The theme is Vision by Design.
This is the third year for the training and is considered to be the premier orthokeratology training that focuses totally on corneal reshaping. The most current technologies and trends will be presented by many world renowned experts.
Dr. Chow’s workshop on using the Orthotool software will be on Thursday, October 21st. Please note that seperate registration for the Orthotool workshop is required.
These worshops will cover the science of custom design for those who attend to be able to design their own keratoconus multifocal GP lenses, aspherical, spherical, reverse geometry, and toric lenses.
Orthokeratologists will learn how the software will provide them total control over everything needed for contact lens designing. Attendees will be able to purchase the Orthotool software at a discount.
Dr. Edward Chow has been serving his clients since 1973 and has taught optometrists in several countries.
