A Montville NJ self storage operator has announced they are offering a 15% reduction in rent for a month and are giving the proceeds to the Morristown Memorial and Overlook Hospitals for a blood drive.

ISO Registration has recently been awarded to Northeast Laser & Electorpolish from Monroe Conneticut. They received the 9001:2008 certification from QMI-SAI Global reg services.

They record new versions of some of the old classics and use them to help raise dollars for charities involved with cancer. They say they currently have around 100 songs that are used ot support more then 30 charities.

They have used their platform to recruit music artists to join them in the fight against cancer. The artists choose the charity they want the money to go to.

Many people have food allergies and are limited in what they can safely eat and drink.

Nerissa Oden recently had an idea she tried that is getting some attention. Nerissa took a recipe she had for an almond milk recipe and instead of using almonds, she used pumpkin seeds.

Nerissa idea came from her own allergies to milk, nuts and soy.

Like many Americans Nerissa has also discovered the advantages of avoiding rice and oat milk to reduce her intake of sugar and gluten. “I can eat all types of seeds so why not make a milk from seeds instead of nuts?” And so she did. She even made a How To video and posted it on YouTube to show others just how fast and easy the process is.

Nerissa says that  this is an easy recipe for folks with various food allegies. Using seeds in milk can be a nice alternate if you are facing milk and nut allergies.

The pumpkin seed milk can be made with unsweetened or a natural sugar substitute.

The recipe and instructions for the pumpkin seed milk is …

7 ounces of raw shelled pumpkin seeds
Large bowl with spout
Blender
Mesh strainer or colander
Nylon straining bag
Storage containers with lids
Filtered water 8-16 cups

Soak pumpkin seeds in filtered water overnight. In the morning, wash and rinse the seeds thoroughly. Put seeds to blender with 2 cups of filtered water. Blend until no visible seeds seen – about 30 seconds or minute depending on your blender. Over large bowl pour half blender contents into nylon bag. Add filtered water to bag. Twist bag top and gently squeeze. Add remaining contents from blender. Squeeze bag. Add filtered water until you have desired thickness of milk. You can also add 1-2 tablespoons of vanilla extract and any sweetener or sugar

substitute to taste. Some people also add salt. Makes 2-4 quarts.

According to the folks at VaporNation, the new vaporizer has a ceramic housed quartz crystal heating element. The unit heats up to correct temperatures with a temperature control which will display the temperature.

RNK Products, Inc. has just received an patent from the US Patent Office for its new SC-2 “step-ON” weight scale. The scale is a 440 lb high capacity scale. The patent received covers the means to turn the battery operated scale on automatically, and give an accurate weight by just stepping on.

They mention many scales designed with a tap on feature that can create problems by the client not be able to tap it or to be able to get on the scale quick enough before the scale goes into a sleep mode.

RNK mentions that the SC-2 scales “step-ON” feature comes with a cabled SC-2 scale and also a wireless (Bluetooth) SC-2/BT scale.
